Cory Bradburn

I build audiences around a point of view, then turn them into subscribers and revenue. I've done it for 12 years at FloSports, Fast Company and Golf Digest, and since 2024 from zero with my own show.

Open to Head of Content roles in New York, and senior contract work.

The record

Bigger audiences, deeper engagement, real revenue

Content teams usually get measured on reach. I've been measured on three things at once: growing the audience, getting it to engage more deeply, and turning that attention into subscribers and revenue. Then I build the team, formats and publishing rhythm that keep all three moving.

  1. FloSportsDirector of Social Media Content
    2023–2024
    $1.65M+

Social content revenue I owned as a P&L line, pacing 23% year over year. I led the platform specialists running 50+ channels and set the standards they published to. Video views grew 58% to more than 1.5 billion a year.

  2. TroikaHead of Digital Content
    2021–2022
    $250K+

Signed content programs I negotiated and structured, run by a six-person team across editorial, social, newsletter and video. In a contract role, I also built and packaged the newsletter, with a share call-to-action that helped it grow to 25,794 subscribers in six months, all organic.

  3. Fast CompanySocial Media Editor
    2019–2021
    2×

X (Twitter) video revenue, doubled to $107K+ in 2020. I also created and ran Hit & Miss, an on-camera series that averaged 51,842 views an episode.

  4. Arccos GolfDigital Marketing Director
    2018–2019
    +53%

Social revenue in six months for a direct-to-consumer product brand, across four platforms.

  5. Golf DigestSocial Media Manager
    2014–2018
    1M+

The first 1M-follower social community in golf media, built in under four years, with the highest engagement rate in the publishing category. The newsletter grew 2.3× to 552,000 subscribers along the way.

How I work

Most of my career has been spent translating between the people making the work and the people paying for it.

Editors, hosts and artists want it to feel right. Finance wants to know what it bought. I build for both: content people send to their friends, adapted for how each platform actually distributes, tied to a number the business can plan around.

I also build my own tools. Most of my week runs through an AI-assisted production and editorial workflow I set up myself, which is how a one-person show publishes like a team.

  • Editorial and content strategy
  • Audience revenue and monetization
  • Short-form and video programming
  • Creator and talent relationships
  • Newsletters and paid acquisition
  • Founder and personal brand content
  • Team leadership
  • AI-assisted workflows

Tiny Table Radio

A video-first interview show about the people behind underground house music. I book every guest, host every conversation, and handle the packaging and publishing, with an editor and a designer alongside me.

It's the same playbook I ran inside media companies, applied to a scene I love with no budget and no brand name to lean on.

I also run the show's own newsletter and write The Artist Operator, a newsletter for DJs built from what TTR guests tell me. Its first paid campaign acquired subscribers for about $2 each.

What I'm looking for

The next role

Head of Content at a media brand or a founder-led company in New York. Senior contract and fractional work is welcome while the right seat opens up.

Since 2024

I've run Tiny Table Media, an independent practice building content systems for founders and professional-services firms. One client's LinkedIn grew 4.5× in reach over 90 days on 21% fewer posts. For an author-founder's book launch, I produced editorial YouTube episodes, clipped them for short-form, and pointed every piece toward her Substack.
