Goal setting. EVERYONE’s doing it these days.

“I’m gonna lose 15 lbs. in the next two months.”

“I’m gonna make an extra $1,000 this quarter.”

“I’m actually gonna find a girl I like.”

Setting goals is too easy. It’s almost become a habit for people to just “set it and forget it.”

I mean, what happened to good old-fashioned plug-and-chug work? Where did the idea, or better, the realization, that you have to earn these lofty goals go?

Did those notions fade away when everyone started getting a trophy just for participating?

I don’t know. But what I do know is this:

“You’re never going to achieve the goals you dream of until you realize the necessary steps from start to finish.”

Strategy. Hustle. Drive. Teamwork. Accountability. Responsibility. Understanding it’s not always gonna go your way. Making adjustments along the way. Decisiveness. Focus. Resolve.

Was “setting a goal” mentioned above? Sure, it’s part of strategy. But it’s like, less than 3% of the strategy.

It’s super important to set a goal you desire, don’t get me wrong. Yet we feel a false sense of accomplishment simply by proclaiming a goal has been set.

Less talky. More do-ey. Seriously.

If anyone’s been guilty of too much talk, it’s me. Well, it was me. I used to think that just saying I was gonna do something meant it would magically happen. Guilty. As. Charged.

Now, my word is worth more than gold. My personal follow-through with action and intent are about as important to me as the air I breathe. If I can keep my word, then I’ve done my job.

I’d like to invite you to join me for a webinar where I will discuss the five most important keys to successfully achieving any goal. These are the pillars, the foundation of your dreams.
